News and Features

Running is My High is NAHC’s largest community event and has been happening for the last 17 years.

The 5k/10k run/walk around Lake Merritt in downtown Oakland celebrates wellness, physical health, nutrition, and social connection.

The theme of this year’s event is “MOVEMENT FOR LIFE.”   The Movement for Life theme speaks to the important position of community clinics as rooted in social justice with the firm belief that quality health care is a right and not a privilege.  Movement for Life also pays tribute to moving our bodies as both historically and presently an important facet of indigenous people’s culture.

All proceeds for RIMH 2018 go toward to the Seven Generations Scholarship Fund, so please be sure to register as soon as possible!
